get involved in one of our four committees!

Chamber Committees

Executive
Works to oversee the functioning of all other committees.  Has oversight responsibility for recruiting, orienting, educating, and evaluating Board members.  Recommends Chamber position on all policy issues and reviews all Chamber finances.

Membership
Works to recruit new members and to retain existing members by developing membership programs.  The Membership Committee meets regularly to assess strategy, create benefit programs, develop members and manage the Retention Plan.

Special Events
Works to develop and organize selected revenue-generating events for the Chamber. The Events Committee meets regularly to assess strategy, define goals and objectives and manage timeline and budget for each event.

Marketing
Works to provide timely information about The Chamber, its members and Waukegan.  The Communications Committee oversees village profile, media opportunities, PR/Marketing campaigns, enhancements to The Chamber’s website, and new collateral materials.
